Technical Career Center

The Poplar Bluff Technical Career Center (PBTCC) is located at 3203 Oak Grove Road in Poplar Bluff. PBTCC is a public, non-profit, one-two year institution of higher learning, which provides area students state-of-the-art career training in a wide variety of occupational areas. Programs of study include: Auto Collision Repair, Auto Technology, Computer Maintenance Repair, Computer Graphics and Print Technology, Building Trades, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Health Occupations, Welding, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, and Licensed Practical Nursing.

The Culinary Arts program operates a restaurant, the Mules Cafe, which is open to the public Tuesday and Friday for lunch. Mules Cafe is located at the district's Central Office site, 1110 N Westwood Blvd. The Cosmetology program operates a full service salon which is also open to the public. Students, supervised by two state licensed cosmetologists, provide an assortment of services at discounted rates. Call 785-6683 for an appointment.

The PBTCC programs are accredited by the following state and national agencies: Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, North Central Association (Post-Secondary), the Missouri State Board of Nursing, and the Missouri State Board of Cosmetology.
