O'Neal Elementary
Dear Parents and Students,
Congratulations to O'Neal Elementary students, parents, and teachers! O'Neal Elementary MAP scores from the State of Missouri were very good! The test reports in four areas. These areas include below basic, basic, proficient, and advanced. O'Neal students scored higher in the top two areas in 3rd grade communication arts, 3rd grade math, 4th grade communication arts, and 4th grade math! We also had fewer students in the basic and below basic areas. With the continued hard work of teachers and students, these scores will continue to improve.
Our teachers are dedicated and hard working and in tying this with the dedication of our students and parents, we will continue to offer a quality educational program here at O’Neal Elementary School. You will be hearing more about MAP testing as the window draws closer. Please continue to help us help your children learn and emphasize the key elements in their particular grade levels. If we can be of any assistance, please contact your child’s teacher or the school office. Again, I am extremely proud of all the teachers, students, and parents!

Angel Tree was a Huge Success
A VERY special thank you to everyone for choosing angels off the tree and bringing Christmas gifts. We appreciate your participation in such a worthy cause. Thank you to everyone who participated.

Thank you to our adopt-a-school partner, lst Midwest Bank, for the special recognition they give to our Students of the Month. Each Student of the Month receives a check for $25.00, a trophy, and a book placed in the O’Neal Library in their honor.
